History of the Longboard Inn...We're located in New Smyrna Beach Florida's Historic District As for the history of our house, we will let her speak for herself. Welcome, I am a real Florida Cracker, let me tell you my story. I have known many people and endured the changes of time. I remember the railroad men of the 1920's, rambling gambling men, who frequented the casinos at Coronado beach, and also the hurricane of 26' that took the gaming house into the sea. I will never forget the blackout nights of WWII, when I would sit in the silent darkness, hiding from the enemy ships that were off our coast. There were happier times, a wedding was held here in my living room. Now my new owners have given this old girl a face lift. I am renewed, artfully decorated and anxious to provide a warm and fun filled atmosphere for all who visit.
